Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong Lean manufacturing knowledge and tooling experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (prefer SolidWorks) and statistical analysis (Minitab).
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (JD Edwards) and PLM (Enovia).
  • Excellent technical writing, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive manufacturing projects from planning through execution.
  • Use Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S) to improve processes, layouts, and reduce waste.
  • Support CAPEX requests by justifying and deploying new equipment.
  • Design production fixtures to improve quality and streamline processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis for sustainable fixes.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders and keep documentation updated.
  • Mentor manufacturing engineering technicians for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive manufacturing projects, overseeing the entire process from planning to execution.

  • Support capital expenditure requests by justifying and implementing new equipment to elevate manufacturing operations.
  • Design and develop production fixtures to improve product quality and streamline processes.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and perform root cause analysis to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders, ensuring accurate updates to manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
  • Mentor and guide a team of manufacturing engineering technicians to foster professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with a preference for SolidWorks, and statistical analysis software like Minitab.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards, and PLM systems like Enovia.
  • Exceptional technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
