Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 8+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing CAPEX projects from concept to validation.
• Experience with outside vendors and contractors on facility projects.
• Strong oral and written communication across all company levels.
• Proficient with MS Office, ERP and reporting tools.
• Ability to see the big picture and optimize production and engineering needs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, sources, and cost-justifies tools, machinery and equipment.
• Manages the implementation of new equipment or technology and trains users.
• Evaluates manufacturing issues and provides cost, quality, and safety improvements.
• Leads transition of new products into production and supports prototyping.
• Stays informed on sheet metal processing methods and new equipment applications.
• Prepares CAD layouts of buildings and equipment for planning.
• Evaluates parts and drawings for manufacturing suitability and cost.
• Collaborates with other departments to set production standards and processes.
