Actalent is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist for a contract-to-hire assignment in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on supporting the engineering team in a large sheet metal manufacturing facility.

You will lead complex support functions, drive Lean improvements, and collaborate with production to meet manufacturing goals while applying Six Sigma and SolidWorks.

This onsite position offers exposure to floor-based engineering, detailed work instructions, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing engineering processes.
• Strong skills in mechanical design and process improvement.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to develop work instructions and support assembly processes.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead complex support functions within the engineering department.
