Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Shift Supervisor to oversee tempering/pre-assembly operations in Moraine, OH. The role focuses on personnel supervision, production planning, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent training.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills for production reporting and record-keeping.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Report to Lead Supervisor and plan production based on orders.
• Ensure plant safety and supervise safety management with the team.
• Manage production quality and cost, monitor KPI performance.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and report issues with production, quality, and procedures.
• Resolve production problems by organizing personnel to address issues.
• Coordinate work and assist with stock taking and bonus management.
