Job summary

RexCon, an Astec Brand, is seeking a Primary Process Owner at our Burlington, WI site. You will partner with manufacturing, quality, OpEx and safety to develop safe, efficient, and reliable production methods using Kaizen and lean techniques.

You will lead cross-functional teams to deploy standards, improve quality, reduce cycle times, and control costs. Ideal candidates have a 0–3 year manufacturing background, knowledge of lean tools, and experience with metal-cutting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, machine shop operations, and metal-cutting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and symbols.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and implement manufacturing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead cross-functional events to deploy standards and lean tools.
• Analyze workforce utilization, space, material routing and equipment layout for efficiency and safety.
• Prepare and present information to management using MS Office.
• Support transitions of new product introductions from engineering to manufacturing.
