Job summary

Univstainless is seeking an Industrial Engineer/Analyst to develop data-driven tools for steel manufacturing process improvement. You will provide detailed reporting to management and operate across Operations, Technology, Quality, and Production Control.

The role emphasizes Lean implementation, continuous improvement, and collaboration with plant leadership to close key gaps and sustain improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with related experience.
• 2+ years of related manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reports to improve productivity and quality.
• Use data systems to perform technical analyses of processes.
• Lead Lean initiatives and kaizens with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards for plant performance.
• Support Lean training and coaching to plant personnel.
• Collaborate with plant leaders to implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing for CI projects.
