Job summary

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc seeks an Industrial Engineer/Analyst to develop data and analytical systems for steel manufacturing process improvements. You will analyze reports to boost productivity and quality, build dashboards, and drive Lean initiatives across plant operations.

The role requires strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills to partner with plant leaders and operations teams on continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering with 2 years of related experience.
Lean manufacturing tools and techniques experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze reports to improve productivity and quality.
Use existing data systems for technical analysis of processes.
Perform SPC and data analysis with Lean initiatives.
Provide training and support to end users.
Develop metrics and dashboards for plant-wide KPIs.
Lead continuous improvement activities and Kaizens.
Support Lean culture and standard work across shifts.
Collaborate with Plant Leaders to implement improvements on the shop floor.
