Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager (Finance) to drive lean manufacturing projects and capital improvement initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic region. This role requires extensive travel (75-90%) between NC, PA, CT, NY, and related locations, collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EH&S to boost profitability, throughput, and quality.

• Lean manufacturing experience and knowledge of continuous improvement
• Strong project management and leadership in matrixed environments
• Experience with ROI analysis and capital project evaluation
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP/MRP systems
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar engineering tools

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality control standards
• Identify opportunities for significant improvement across regional plants and lead lean initiatives
• Provide training and mentoring to plant teams on lean processes and Kaizen events
• Drive process changes and coordinate with plant-level teams to optimize layout and flow
• Lead capital project proposals and ROI analyses with operations teams
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework and safety practices
• Manage project expenditures and monitor budgets through project lifecycles
