Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products seeks an Operational Excellence Manager (Finance) to lead lean manufacturing initiatives, capital projects, and process improvements across multiple plants in the Mid-Atlantic region. Expect 75–90% travel among NC, PA, CT, and NY; role located near one of our plants in Concord, NC, Raleigh, Fuquay, Fayetteville, NC, Avon CT, Telford PA, or Croydon PA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in precast.
• Lean manufacturing methodologies to support continuous production operations.
• Quality control/maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management tools.
• Strong leadership and communication in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and process capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for regional improvement with operations and sales teams.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to plant-level teams on lean processes.
• Drive process changes through active hands-on coordination with plants.
• Optimize plant layout and flow to reduce costs and inefficiencies.
• Lead capital project scoping, ROI analysis and project proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence framework and best practices.
