Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a Lean Manager to lead continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. The role develops and implements Lean strategies, drives 5S and standard work, and partners with engineering and operations teams to eliminate waste, improve flow and increase productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will mentor cross-functional teams, lead Kaizen events and value stream mapping, deploy dashboards for OEE and cycle time, and deliver training on Lean tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with 5S implementation and sustaining visual management systems
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (or equivalent experience applying Six Sigma tools)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the site Lean strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, waste reduction) to improve flow, reduce lead time, and lower operating costs.
  • Design, deploy and sustain 5S, visual management and standard work across production areas.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional continuous improvement teams, providing coaching in Lean tools and change management.
  • Identify, scope and manage improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies where appropriate; track and report project ROI and KPI improvements.
  • Work closely with Process Engineers, Production, Quality and Maintenance to embed improvements into daily operations and new product/process introductions.
  • Create and maintain metrics and dashboards (OEE, cycle time, first-pass yield, lead time) to monitor performance and drive accountability.
  • Develop training materials and deliver workshops on Lean principles, 5S, problem solving and process control.
  • Ensure continuous improvement activities comply with safety, regulatory and quality requirements and that gains are sustained over time.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, present results to leadership and support deployment of best practices across facilities.

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with 5S implementation and sustaining visual management systems.
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (or equivalent experience applying Six Sigma tools)
  • Background as a Process Engineer or experience working closely with process engineering teams.
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience leading Kaizen events and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data, use value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools to drive measurable results.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency with improvement tools and software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, ERP/MES systems) and familiarity with KPI tracking and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings, productivity gains and sustainable process improvements.
