Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with pivot tables, data analysis, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Observe, map, and analyze current state processes across site functions to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects from initiation through completion, including defining scope, setting measurable goals, tracking progress, and reporting results to site leadership.
  • Apply Lean principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Poka-Yoke) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC) to solve complex operational problems and drive sustainable change.
  • Train and mentor site personnel on continuous improvement tools and techniques, fostering a culture of problem-solving and operational excellence.
  • Work with process owners to develop and document new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for improved processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and ensure gains are sustained over time.

Job description
