Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools (Minitab, Excel, Visio).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
  • Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze data to identify waste, variation, and inefficiency.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop and deploy SOPs, visual controls, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to enhance process design and layout.
  • Monitor KPIs to assess improvement outcomes and sustainability.
  • Train and mentor team members on CI principles and tools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align improvements with strategic goals.
  • Support new product introductions by ensuring Lean process integration.
  • Document and communicate progress, successes, and lessons learned.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste and optimize processes.

The Lean Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements across the organization to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and drive operational excellence. This role leverages Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to promote a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Document and communicate progress, successes, and lessons learned.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects by applying Lean principles and methodologies to eliminate waste, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Drive structured problem-solving activities to identify root causes, implement effective corrective actions, and improve key performance indicator (KPI) performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Visio).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
