Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Capability Leader to build capability across teams through hands-on improvement, training, and coaching. You will work with site leaders and operators to strengthen practices, solve problems, and implement sustainable lean methods.

The role emphasizes practical application of lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, Daily Management, 5S, TPM) and requires traveling about half the time to support sites and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience leading or supporting improvements in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with core lean tools in complex environments.
• Experience delivering training, coaching teams, or facilitating workshops.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and drive change at scale.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of training and capability-building programs.
• Facilitate hands-on workshops on lean tools and methods.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
• Lead and support kaizens and improvement initiatives in factory and transactional environments.
• Coach teams and leaders on lean behaviors, problem solving, and daily management.
• Help assess current lean capability and support development plans.
• Support deployment of the GE Vernova Operating Method through practical implementation.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, inclusion, and learning.
• Ensure smooth logistics and coordination for classes and programs.
• Content development and improvements.
