Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lean Capability Leader to build across teams through hands-on improvement, training, and coaching. You will work with site leaders, operators, and cross-functional teams to strengthen practices, solve problems, and establish sustainable ways of working.

The role emphasizes learning and development in manufacturing with strong application of lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, Daily Management, Standard Work, 5S, Kanban, SMED, TPM). ~50% travel; preferred location: GEV site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience leading or supporting improvements in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, Daily Management, 5S, Problem Solving, Kanban, SMED, TPM).
• Experience delivering training, coaching teams, or facilitating workshops.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and drive change at scale.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of training and capability-building programs (e.g., Kaizen Facilitator Training, Lean Leader Development, Problem Solving).
• Facilitate hands-on workshops and training sessions on lean tools and methods.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.
• Lead and support kaizens and improvement initiatives in factory and transactional environments.
• Coach teams and leaders on lean behaviors, problem solving, and daily management practices.
• Help assess current lean capability and support development plans to build ownership and engagement.
• Support deployment of GE Vernova Operating Method through practical implementation and follow-up.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, inclusion, and learning.
• Ensure smooth logistics and coordination for classes and programs.
• Content development and improvements.
