Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lean Leader for Heavy Duty Services ITR Engineering in the United States. You will deploy Lean principles, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and coach engineering leaders to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The role focuses on Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, and structured problem solving across the HD Services ITR organization. You will facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and PSRs, translating strategic priorities into sustained

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in power plant engineering or related technologies.
• Proven experience driving Lean deployment, continuous improvement, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, and structured problem solving.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and influence change within a matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate challenges into improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple improvement initiatives and sustain results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner and coach to HD Services ITR Engineering leadership on the Lean roadmap.
• Identify performance gaps and drive initiatives that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.
• Lead Lean initiatives and Kaizen events aligned with Global Services priorities.
• Drive Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Daily Management, and Leader Standard Work.
• Coach leaders in Lean principles, problem solving, and visual management.
• Prepare process performance for Monthly Operating Reviews and ensure timely actions.
• Facilitate PSRs, A3s, PDCA, and root cause analysis to close gaps.
• Develop Lean capability across the organization through coaching and mentorship.
