Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer, Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Warsaw, IN. The role focuses on optimizing processes, reducing waste, and supporting new product launches while ensuring safety, quality and cost objectives are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 8+ years of manufacturing experience (automotive or complex environments preferred), and proven Lean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive or complex manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing Certification required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, and Kanban.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support new product introductions, process flow development, PFMEA, and workstation design.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Train and mentor team members on Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
