Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline preferred.
• 3-5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting production launches, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Analyze labor utilization, equipment performance, workflow, and facility layouts.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, labor planning, and capacity analysis.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and manufacturing best practices.
• Identify automation opportunities and innovative process improvements.
• Engineer solutions that improve workplace safety and operational effectiveness.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing efforts across the facility; facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and Six Sigma projects.
• Lead cross-functional projects, build business cases, and support capital investments.
• Collaborate with production leadership and support functions to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement.
