Functional Devices, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join onsite in Indiana.

The role focuses on analyzing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to boost productivity, reduce waste, and achieve operational excellence. You will conduct time studies, collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement changes that improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize labor utilization.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Engineering or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of production analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to implement process changes.
• Analyze production data and recommend best practices.
• Collect and summarize production efficiency data for Engineering and Production.
• Aid in creating layouts for optimal process and material flow.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Aid in new equipment procurement.
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma processes.
