Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Manager to lead inbound, pick/pack, outbound shipments, and inventory control. The role drives continuous improvement and lean culture across the value stream, focusing on safety, quality, and cost management.

You will coach direct reports, ensure SOP adherence, optimize shift coverage (including second shift and weekend work as needed), manage client relationships, and push KPI-driven productivity across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement approaches.
• Minimum of 2 years in a managerial operations role.
• Experience leading up to 100 associates.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to client SLA agreements and site quality/fulfillment targets.
• Develop day-to-day operations strategy for safe, productive campus operations.
• Lead performance management for direct reports.
• Oversee shift planning and directives to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Interact with clients on operational topics and report KPIs.
• Promote continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the value stream.
• Manage budget and resources for the value stream.
• Ensure SOPs are up to date and followed.
