Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies in Olathe, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to champion the CI system, guide cost and process improvements, and deploy lean tools across manufacturing. You will collaborate with operations, quality, product engineering and customer support to identify and resolve issues and drive productivity.

This role requires leading Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and data analysis to monitor KPIs, reduce waste, and sustain gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimal travel (<10%) to other facilities, vendors, and training.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI events and initiatives.
• Design and implement machine/assembly cells and factory layouts.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate and manage CI projects across cross-functional teams.
• Maintain safety and quality during improvements.
