Job summary

SPX Technologies in Olathe, KS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to champion lean initiatives across HVAC manufacturing. You will lead cost and process improvements, deploy lean tools, and focus on waste reduction, inventory control, and productivity.

You will work with manufacturing, quality, product engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues and drive enhancements, embracing cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
• 2+ years Lean experience and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Lean Certification or formal Lean training is preferred.
• Experience leading or participating in Kaizen events.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead Kaizen events and apply lean tools to reduce waste and costs.
• Identify process improvements, map value streams, and drive sustainable change.
• Provide data-driven analysis to guide decisions and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with SPX Business System.
