Storage Building Co. is seeking a Traveling Lead Superintendent with deep expertise in structural steel to oversee multi-level commercial and industrial projects.

The role requires a proven leader who can manage job sites, coordinate subcontractors, and uphold safety and quality across various locations. You will lead field operations, coordinate deliveries and erection sequencing, and enforce safety standards while traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations on structural steel projects, ensuring schedule, safety, and quality.
• Coordinate steel deliveries, sequencing, and erection to minimize downtime.
• Enforce site-wide safety standards across multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Manage field conflicts, mis-fabrications, and delays while keeping the project on track.
• Conduct and coordinate inspections to ensure compliance with specs, codes, and client requirements.
• Build and maintain subcontractor relationships and accountability.
• Report progress and updates to project managers and clients.
• Motivate crews to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Drive quality installation with precision in multi-level structural steel projects.

This role requires a proven leader who can effectively manage job sites, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain strict safety and quality standards while traveling to various project locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all field operations on structural steel-focused projects, ensuring schedule, safety, and quality compliance.
• Coordinate steel deliveries, sequencing, and erection to minimize downtime.
• Enforce and uphold site-wide safety standards across multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Manage field conflicts, mis-fabrications, and schedule delays while keeping the project on track.
• Conduct and coordinate inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specs, codes, and client requirements.
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships while ensuring accountability.
• Report progress, issues, and updates to project managers and clients.
• Motivate crews to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Strong safety background and ability to manage busy sites with multiple trades.
• Willingness to travel frequently to job sites.
