Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Lean/Last Planner Specialist to support Lean adoption on regional projects. You will collaborate with the Regional Lean Manager and project teams to implement Lean Roadmap, LPS, and continuous improvements on site.

Experience with lean culture, strong communication, and ability to facilitate workshops is required. This role travels to assigned projects and reports to senior operations leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience.
Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret contract docs, drawings and schedules.
Travel required.

Responsibilities

Support project teams in Lean Roadmap to achieve goals.
Work daily with Last Planner System on-site.
Assist development of project improvements through workshops and coaching.
Collaborate with Regional Lean Manager to share improvements.
Set up Visual Management and 5S on projects.
Develop project-specific lean implementation strategies with Lean Manager.
Conduct regular project reviews to set measurable improvement goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
