Job summary

Turner Construction Company in New York seeks a Lean Practice Lead to drive lean culture across business units and projects, guiding teams to improve value and collaboration.

You will coach Last Planner System, 5S, Visual Management, and Lean Roadmap, conduct training, and support project launches. Travel is extensive, and a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years lean experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years' related experience required.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Last Planner System project experience or Advancing Lean training.
• Willing to challenge status quo.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support lean culture initiatives across units and projects.
• Work daily with teams using the Last Planner System.
• Provide insight, direction and strategic alignment to the business.
• Support project launches using the Launch Matrix.
• Assist teams in using Lean Roadmap to meet project goals.
• Develop and conduct standard lean training and workshops Region-wide.
• Conduct regular project reviews with leadership to track status and opportunities.
