Job summary

Jayco is seeking a CI/Lean professional to optimize processes across manufacturing operations. You will lead continuous improvement projects, analyze data, and drive cost reductions while improving safety, quality, and reliability.

The role requires 3+ years in LEAN with tools like VSM, 6S, SMED, and experience leading teams in a manufacturing setting. RV manufacturing background preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Indiana with opportunities to mentor CI Technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or Project Management with manufacturing focus.
• Minimum 3 years experience with LEAN tools (VSM, 6S, Problem Solving, 8 Waste, SMED).
• Minimum 2 years leading teams/people; demonstrated project management in manufacturing."
• RV manufacturing or assembly background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects, events, and training to support operations.
• Facilitate solutions with Operations to improve flow of processes.
• Lead Kaizen events and projects to support company goals and objectives.
• Embrace continuous improvement initiatives including cost reductions, quality and manufacturability improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors on LEAN projects; follow Jayco lean standards.
