Job summary

Jayco is seeking a Lean Continuous Improvement Engineer to optimize processes across our operations. You will lead Kaizen events, drive cost reductions, and collaborate with Operations to streamline workflows while ensuring safety and quality in RV manufacturing.

The role requires 3+ years of Lean experience, with VSM/6S/SMED familiarity, and the ability to lead teams. Proficiency in MS Office and CAD tools is preferred. Some travel to field locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with LEAN practices and projects (VSM, 6S, Problem Solving, 8 Waste, SMED).
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams and people.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement projects, events, and training to support business operations.
• Facilitate creation of solutions with Operations to improve flow of processes.
• Lead Kaizen events and projects to support company goals.
• Embrace continuous improvement initiatives; cost reductions, quality, and manufacturability improvements.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to support LEAN manufacturing projects and initiatives.
• Follow Jayco lean standards and be a culture change agent.
