Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead the Lean Production System implementation at the Madison, AL site. This role partners with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to eliminate waste and raise productivity.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience, with strong Lean toolkit and problem-solving skills to drive measurable gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience.
• Experience applying Lean tools to improve productivity, quality, delivery and cost.
• Experience facilitating Kaizen events and structured problem solving.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred.
• Experience implementing or sustaining a Lean Production System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lean Production System implementation and sustainment across manufacturing.
• Identify waste and improve flow using Lean tools and problem solving.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops.
• Collaborate with operations and front-line teams to improve layouts and processes.
• Maintain visual performance management for key production metrics.
• Drive corrective actions to closure and establish controls.
• Maintain project pipeline and report status to plant leadership.
• Benchmark best practices across operations.
