Job summary

Legrand is seeking an Assembly Production Supervisor in Union, OH to direct assembly personnel and drive Lean manufacturing initiatives. You will implement Lean strategies to ensure safe, efficient operations while meeting daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.

The role requires coordinating with Materials, ERP/MRP systems, and Engineering to improve workflow, quality, and on-time delivery across the AV division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with supervisory/management experience in manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience implementing Lean principles and using ERP tools.
• Strong communication, problem solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise assembly personnel and activities.
• Schedule materials, monitor headcount, and adjust for demand.
• Ensure processes meet quality standards and safety.
• Lead daily meetings and provide status on production orders.
• Oversee returns, WIP, and inventory reconciliations.
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide feedback, coaching and performance evaluations.
