Job summary

Legrand, Blue Ash, OH, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to perform light assembly, basic machining, and packaging of manufactured products in the Audio Video Division. You will follow prints, verify materials, and maintain quality, efficiency, and inventory control while working to scheduled training proficiency.

The role requires reading assembly drawings, basic math and measurement skills, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, blueprints, BOMs and procedures.
  • Basic mechanical, math and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours including weekends.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Lean principles: 5S, Kanban.

Responsibilities

  • Perform light assembly and basic machining per work orders.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and BOMs.
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy.
  • Package units for shipment and update data records.
  • Maintain clean, organized workstation per 5S.
  • Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
