Job summary

LSI Industries, Inc. in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead assembly operations in a Lean manufacturing environment. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities to meet customer orders and quality standards.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, enforcing safety regulations, maintaining records, and driving continuous improvement. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and Lean/ISO knowledge preferred; strong leadership and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience required.
• Understanding of ISO principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly operations in a Lean manufacturing environment, using Lean principles for process improvement and problem solving.
• Develops and provides input on assembly requirements needed to determine the total labor for a customer's order.
• Interfaces with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
• Coordinates manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
