Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Leafer in our Production department to perform leafing operations on transformer cores, assemble components, and ensure quality standards are met. You will read and follow work instructions, use hand and powered tools, and collaborate with the team to maintain safety and efficiency.

This non-exempt, 1st/2nd/3rd shift role supports ongoing production goals at our AR facility, with opportunities for skill development and career growth within a stable, ISO

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and documentation.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform measurements.
• Familiarity with hand tools and powered tools used in manufacturing.
• Experience operating hoists or other material-handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform leafing operations by assembling transformer core steel around coil assemblies according to work instructions.
• Install core components and hardware as specified.
• Position and align core steel and components for proper fit.
• Read and follow applicable work instructions, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Use hand tools, powered tools, hoists, and other equipment for leafing operations.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications.
