Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Leafer for our production team in Transformers AR. You will perform leafing operations, assemble transformer core steel around coils, and ensure components are properly aligned and secured.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to work instructions, and collaboration with a team to meet quality and safety standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and familiarity with hand and powered tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform leafing operations by assembling transformer core steel around coil assemblies per instructions and procedures.
• Install core components and hardware as specified.
• Position and align core steel and components for proper fit and assembly.
• Read and follow work instructions, specifications and production documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, hoists, and equipment for leafing operations.
• Perform visual and dimensional quality checks on core assemblies.
• Identify and report damaged materials or nonconforming conditions to supervision.
• Maintain tools, materials, and supplies for production activities.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
