Job summary

WEG is hiring a Production Assembler for 2nd or 3rd shift to support transformer production. Responsibilities include reading BOMs and schematics, framing components, wiring leads, and assembling hardware with attention to safety.

You will verify insulation, route and tie leads, and move units using an overhead crane while ensuring proper connections and documentation. On-site with competitive benefits and a focus on continuous development.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret BOMs, drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Read BOMs and schematics to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Framing and top-yoking active part; install and route leads.
• Prepare and crimp connections; make LV/HV connections and LTC where applicable.
• Verify insulation and lead runs; maintain clearances and secure connections.
• Move units using overhead crane and prepare components for testing.
