Chief Buildings is seeking a Lead Person to support daily operations at the Grand Island, NE plant. You will back up the supervisor, enforce safety and quality standards, and coach employees to meet team goals.
You will oversee production schedules on the 2nd shift, guide teams, and apply ERP system knowledge (IFS) to streamline processes. Strong communication and manufacturing experience are essential for success.

Supports daily operations by performing departmental tasks alongside team members while serving as a backup to the supervisor. This role ensures a safe and productive work environment, enforces adherence to quality and production standards, and provides guidance and coaching to employees. The Lead Person is also responsible for resolving issues, minimizing scrap, and maintaining an organized, detail-oriented approach to achieving team goals.

A strong foundation in manufacturing processes and equipment is essential. This can be gained through hands-on experience as a production worker, technician, or operator.
Minimum requirement of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
