Job summary

Triple-S Steel is seeking an experienced Warehouse Leadman for our 2nd shift to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive efficient inventory control. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with production on material flow.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. This role offers growth opportunities in a values-driven, family-owned environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe methods of work and report unsafe conditions.

• Walk the warehouse in the morning to ensure racks and exits are clear.
• Help check and pull will calls and deliver orders.
• Maintain daily equipment inspections.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Leadman for our 2nd shift to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient inventory management, and lead a team of warehouse associates. This role is vital in maintaining seamless loperations, optimizing processes, and overall support of the team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and safety protocols. Responsibilities

• Follow Triple-S safe methods of work at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Safely and properly move steel to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, by hand, forklift, overhead crane or other equipment. Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift material and guide loads; to climb onto vehicles to tie down and release material being loaded. This is continuous daily activity.
• Train new team members on will calls, deliver orders, check stock, use computers etc.
• Morning walking through the warehouse making sure material is safe on racks and exit doors are not blocked.
• Help check and pull will calls and deliver orders.
• Maintain equipment daily inspections.

Qualifications

• Ability to correctly read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Ability to safely meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company.
• Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision; work alone and in a team environment.
• Ability to develop a good working knowledge of product and inventory control techniques and procedures.
• Ability to maintain ongoing inter‑department communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations.
• Demonstrate basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• May be required to demonstrate strong customer relations skills.
