Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. This fast-paced role offers exposure to sales, operations, fleet management, and finance while building foundational leadership capabilities.

You'll gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics, customer service, and daily store operations, with structured training to prepare for future leadership roles and potential career

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver?s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Presentable attire.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support achievement of location sales goals; deliver excellent customer experience; learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: support team with cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: shadow and support management; build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching; prepare for future leadership roles.
