Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in 12–18 months. Location: Costa Mesa, CA. The role offers structured training across sales, operations, and finance, with a clear pathway to management.

The program emphasizes leadership development, team coaching, and exposure to all facets of the business in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills; flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Presentable attire.
• Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support achievement of location sales goals.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: support tasks including cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and assist with deals and reporting.
• Leadership Development: shadow management and coaching, prepare for future roles.
