Hertz Local Edition (HLE) in Connecticut is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control and assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Support team with tasks including cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow and support management, build skills in scheduling and performance coaching.
