Community Choice Financial’s Family of Brands in Valdosta, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager. You will lead daily store operations, support customers with financial services, and develop leadership skills through hands-on coaching and performance-driven work.

You’ll drive account management, customer outreach, and risk management while ensuring compliance, a positive team environment, and a strong focus on growth and promotions within the multi-brand network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, sales or retail.
• At least 3 months supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with phones, POS system, MS Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in Alabama).
• Background check required and compliant with law.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing and light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications, check cashing, and related products.
• Conduct daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes while maintaining customer service focus.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Attend off-site duties including store errands and external marketing.
• Meet company performance standards by leveraging partnerships and hosting events.
• Ensure store security and proper opening/closing procedures, including vault and cash drawer management.
• Conduct store audits, generate reports, and compile financial data to ensure compliance.
• Maintain store appearance and handle facility needs and maintenance.
