Job summary

Community Choice Financial® Family of Brands seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, drive customer service, and manage risk while developing leadership skills. The ASM will oversee staff, handle customer outreach, and ensure compliance with policies at the Hazlehurst, GA location.

The role offers hands-on experience with financial services, on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement across the brand family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year’s experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Background check required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this position (standing, moving up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions and process loan/pawn applications and related transactions.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build new business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes with a service-focused approach.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives as needed.
• Attend to on-site tasks such as store errands and events.
• Meet performance standards through in-store partnerships and community activities.
• Maintain security and proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Maintain store appearance and handle facility needs.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
• Maintain a full-time schedule with in-person attendance, including weekends.
