Job summary

The Leader in Training (LIT) at New Cannabis Ventures is a key part of the RISE Dispensary leadership team, helping supervise daily operations, communicate priorities to team members, and optimize the customer journey.

You rotate through core dispensary functions—operations, experience, and people—to gain subject matter expertise and fast-track toward Assistant General Manager. This is a developmental path with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service or retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.
• Availability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Reliable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license or state ID.
• Must understand cannabis laws and regulations.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and local/state regulations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate items with management.
• Oversee intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory accuracy in the vault.
• Lead team members to execute programs, initiatives, and regional promotions.
• Demonstrate proper cash handling, processing payments, discounting, and cash maintenance.
