Job summary

IOWA SELECT FARMS in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking an Employee Relations & Development Manager. This on-site role leads leadership development, coaching, and HR programs across 55 Iowa counties, empowering 200+ supervisors and leaders.

You will design and deliver development programs, assess leadership capability, and guide managers through complex employee relations matters with a focus on prevention, culture, and compliance. Travel across Iowa is required; reports to the VP of HR.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and facilitating leadership or management training.
• Strong working knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, performance management, and employee relations best practices.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and build credibility with leaders at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation on complex employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Partner with leaders to resolve workplace issues while balancing employee experience and legal compliance.
• Lead and develop the Employee Relations team and coach HR staff.
• Develop leadership capability across 200+ supervisors and 55 Iowa counties.
• Administer leadership development programs and succession planning tools.
• Manage performance management platforms and annual reviews.
