Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an experienced location leader in Iowa to direct the day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and drive safety, efficiency, and customer service across administration, logistics, and budgeting functions.

You will coordinate with Area Managers and District Managers to align with the cooperative’s mission and goals, while promoting professional development and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Significant agribusiness experience, 5+ years in grain and/or agronomy operations.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive; Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and pesticide handler’s license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Seasonality of the farm supply business understood.

Responsibilities

• Direct administration: supervise location employees and provide guidance.
• Provide direction and coach education/development of the location team.
• Manage recruitment: fill openings, interview, and extend offers; train new employees.
• Oversee safety practices and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Collaborate with area managers to plan logistics and daily operations.
• Budgeting: work toward location budgets and advise on expansion opportunities.
• Promote company culture and maintain professional communication with leadership.
