Qualifications

• Ability to work 30 hours per week and cover at least 4 shifts.

• Experience in daily operations of a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong written and verbal communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Represent the restaurant during shifts and train team members as needed.
• Oversee shift operations, plan positions, and ensure smooth service.
• Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and quick response to guest needs.
• Open and close shifts as key holder and manage cash handling.
• Count drawers accurately and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

The responsibility of a Shift Supervisor is to represent the restaurant during their shift, assist in training, and act as a role model for the team. Shift Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the team members on their shift, effectively planning shift positions, and ensuring their shift runs smoothly.

Applicant Must Be Able To

• Participate in daily operations of a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant

• Follow food safety and cleanliness guidelines

Successful applicants will be expected to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary.

Job opportunities as a Shift Supervisor are generally offered as full time or part time.

Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager or assistant manager is preferred, but not required.
