Job summary

Lumos Fiber in High Point, NC, is seeking a Manager – OSP Engineering to lead the Outside Plant programs for our North Carolina fiber network. You will drive planning, design, and implementation, coordinating with utility partners and permitting authorities.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and excellent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in OSP telecommunications, with construction/engineering focus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead and direct diverse teams.
• Strong collaboration with utilities, regulators, and communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-million dollar OSP budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate design, permitting, and construction from concept to completion.
• Provide strategic direction to staff and contractors.
• Liaise with government agencies and utilities to ensure project success.
• Lead planning and engineering of ILEC/CLEC OSP facilities.
