Job description

This is more than a training program—it’s the beginning of your story as a leader in luxury hospitality. At Sea Island, you’ll discover not only the skills to grow but also the passion that drives you. From your very first day, you’ll step into an immersive experience that places you at the heart of a Forbes Five Star resort. You’ll learn by doing, guided by mentors who have shaped the industry, and be given the space to explore, grow, and uncover where your talents and ambitions shine brightest. Transform your passion for providing luxury hospitality into a distinguished career path, gaining hands-on experience that shapes the future of guest excellence. You are positive, proactive and self-motivated, with an enthusiastic attitude. You are eager to learn, open to feedback and motivated to continue the traditions of Southern hospitality. You strive in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset and the drive to take initiative. You are empathetic, professional and possess strong written and communication skills. This journey is about more than career preparation—it’s about finding your path and realizing the leader you’re meant to become.

While experiencing various departments during the program, you will directly influence the guest experience by learning how every detail, decision, and interaction contributes to the standards of excellence that define luxury hospitality. From shaping the quality of service to supporting the teams who deliver it, you will gain a deep understanding of how thoughtful leadership elevates the guest journey and builds loyalty. Every role you take on, every decision you make, and every moment of service you provide contributes to the memories our guests carry home. You’ll learn how genuine hospitality transforms an ordinary stay into something unforgettable—and how your leadership can inspire others to create those moments every day. This is where your passion meets purpose—where your growth as a leader is woven into the unforgettable stories of those you serve. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a leadership role in luxury hospitality, prepared to make a lasting impact on both your team and the guests we serve.

You set the tone with your strong ethics and by consistently upholding and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for quality, timing, attendance, and appearance. You follow and ensure all Sea Island safety protocols are consistently met. You maintain situational awareness of your surroundings, keeping an eye on all areas for tidiness and any general maintenance issues, ensuring that all are corrected or reported immediately. You maintain your knowledge of Sea Island’s properties, services, and offerings, and share this information with guests, members, and team members. You are generous with your support and help resolve any service issues that arise in a timely and positive way, following up as needed. You are proactive in aiding when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested.
