Job summary

University of Nevada, Reno is seeking an Assistant Director, Housing Operations & Outreach to lead the residential experience for thousands of students. You will manage front desk operations, housing office activities, and service excellence while shaping outreach programs and housing tours for Wolf Pack families.

This hands-on leadership role requires staffing training, data security, and collaboration with the Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services team to ensure welcoming, efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience.
• Related experience: Student housing administration or comparable higher education experience or related.

Responsibilities

• Lead front desk operations and housing office activities.
• Oversee outreach initiatives and housing tours for new students and families.
• Train and empower staff; ensure data is securely managed.
• Collaborate with Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services leadership to shape the residential experience.
