Job summary

University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe seeks a Student Desk Assistant to support front desk operations for conferences and residential duties. You will interact with visiting groups, provide information, and help prepare housing for arrivals and departures.

The role requires enrollment at UNR, willingness to live in housing during the term, and availability for training before the term starts. Schedule is 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
• Available for training the week before term.
• Live in housing for the term if required by CDA role.

Responsibilities

• Greet conference guests and act as information reference point.
• Apply knowledge of campus and venues to advise and resolve issues.
• Assist in preparing residence hall accommodations for conference arrivals and departures.
• Provide security for guests and residents; respond to crises and emergencies.
• Support programming with Residence Life staff and assist with duties as assigned.
