Meet the Team

You will join Cisco Legal's Regulatory Affairs Trade Legal & Compliance (TLC) team. The Regulatory Affairs team includes lawyers, operational specialists, program managers, engineers, and subject matter experts focusing on data and privacy, global trade, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and other regulatory areas. You will collaborate with colleagues across Legal and various functions to make an immediate impact through your analytical skills, business judgment, and proactive approach.

Your Impact

You will be a strategic people leader in the Cisco TLC Team, focusing on global trade regulations and operations. We seek a proven leader with experience in scaling trade compliance operations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading with vision and strategy, fostering a positive, performance-driven culture through partnerships, training, talent development, and growth initiatives.
2. Building relationships with internal teams to support business operations and enhance customer outcomes.
3. Staying updated on trade laws and regulations, advising on compliance matters.
4. Partnering with global logistics providers and analyzing trade data to ensure compliance and improve supply chain efficiencies.
5. Conducting risk assessments and audits, analyzing deficiencies, and implementing corrective actions.
6. Implementing IT automation and AI tools to streamline compliance processes and improve productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in trade compliance solutions.
• Proven leadership in motivating and supporting teams to achieve results and develop careers.
• Experience developing processes for global trade compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of export controls, trade sanctions, and enforcement expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to balance quality and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing trade regulations and strategies.
