Meet the Team

You will join Cisco Legal’s Regulatory Affairs Trade Legal & Compliance (TLC) team. The Regulatory Affairs team includes lawyers, operational specialists, program managers, engineers, and subject matter experts focusing on data and privacy, global trade, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and other regulatory areas. You will collaborate with colleagues across Legal and other functions to make an immediate impact with your analytical skills, business judgment, and execution ability.

Your Impact

You will be a strategic leader in the Cisco TLC Team, focusing on operations. This team manages global trade regulations across the business. We seek a strong leader with proven experience in scaling trade compliance operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading with vision and strategy, fostering a positive, performance-driven culture through partnerships, training, and talent development.
• Building relationships with internal teams to support operations and enhance customer outcomes.
• Staying updated on trade laws and regulations, advising on compliance matters.
• Establishing relationships with global logistics partners and analyzing trade data to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Conducting risk assessments, root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions.
• Implementing IT automation and AI tools to improve productivity and streamline processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent with 10+ years in trade compliance solutions.
• Proven leadership skills with experience motivating and developing teams.
• Experience developing global trade compliance processes.
• Solid knowledge of export controls and trade sanctions regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to balance quality and deadlines in a results-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving trade regulations and strategies.
